Seu canto é muito similar ao da espécie americana Tibicen lyricen virescens.
This small cicada was found in my work. The fact that it was molting during the day was very strange to me (I'm used to see it happen only at night). I don't know the exact species, but i can say it possibly belongs to genus Ariasa. It is a male specimen, which unfortunately had an uncertain fate in one of my subordinates' hands ... what a pity. At least this species is very abundant in the area, so it wasn't a complete loss. As you can see by the 3rd shot, it had 2.5 centimeters long.
Its song is very similar to the American Tibicen lyricen virescens species.
